HORRIDO! |

Hallo? |
Membership is open to just about anyone. Men, women, and families are welcome to join. The Tactical events only allow for persons above the age of 16, because of safety regulations. Applications are available by contacting oberjager@gebirgsjagernw.org for it by snail mail or email. Before you consider joining, you should know that this hobby can be expensive. While uniforms have dropped in price with recent imports, you can still expect to spend over $500 to get the very basic kit. We do not expect anyone to go out and buy anything before coming to your first event. For training events, we do allow modern clothing (or we can loan you some period stuff if we have your size…) and for tactical events there is usually some extra equipment laying around. If you do join, we will provide you with a copy of the unit CD that provides a massive amount of data on reenacting, history and manuals on how to do many of the things we do. By the way, if you are just interested in the information, we can make arrangements to send you the CD, for the cost of mail. |

We do most of our field classes in the Mount Hood and Mount St Helens areas. Desert classes happen at the Oregon National Guard Training Area, Biak, near Bend, Oregon Tactical events mostly occur at Camp Rilea (Astoria, OR), Camp Withycombe (Clackamas, OR), or in the Willamette Valley.
