The above pictured Gebirgsjager group includes to Heer members and one Luftwaffe member. The Jager on the left is wearing a standard M40 jacket and pants, under a heavy winter reversible to splinter A camouflage jacket. The LW LNO is wearing the same kind of heavy jacket, with some LW specific gear (such as the ammo bandolier). The Oberjager on the right is wearing the Anorak and matching pants, over an M40 uniform. This set is reversible white/medium brown and wind/rain resistant. All three wear Bergmutze, two in field gray and one in LW blue gray. Note that the LW LNO is wearing felt/leather boots for the cold weather. All three are wearing foot gear with no hobs so as not to damage the snow shoes they are wearing. |
